Description
An initial assessment by a physiotherapist entails a comprehensive review of the patient’s range of movement, strength, flexibility, and total physical ability to prepare a tailor-made therapy regime. The physiotherapist will then do a physical examination which involves looking at the posture, alignment and movement patterns of the patient. The physiotherapist will then develop a treatment plan specific to the patient based on the results of the assessment. The plan may consist of a combination of manual therapy, exercises, and other effective interventions such as modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, or taping. The fees outlined include assessment only; none of the treatment options in this plan are covered within these fees and would need to be billed separately.
